Dear Parents,
Your child is going on a field trip with class members. Did you know that the Food Service Department offers “bag lunches” for students on field trips?
If your child qualifies for free or reduced price ($.25) lunches, we will provide a free or reduced price bag lunch upon request. Students who pay full price for their lunch may purchase a bag lunch for the price of $1.75, or use prepaid lunches or funds on deposit.
Each lunch contains a sandwich, chips or popcorn, fresh fruit or vegetables, cookies or dessert, and milk, juice or water to drink. Bag lunches are picked up by students in the cafeteria before the class leaves for the field trip. We do not sell snacks such as ice cream, chips or drinks to students leaving for field trips.
You can order a bag lunch for your child to take on the field trip by completing the form at the bottom of this page. Please return this form to your child’s school at least 7 school days before the trip. We cannot honor lunch requests received after the due date.
