GRAPHIC COMMUNICATION

This course will introduce the student to the processes and techniques used to produce the printed word and illustration.  This half-year course will expand on the concepts covered in Communication Systems.  The work will include activities in manual design, computer graphics, desktop publishing, and web design.

We will explore the gradual, yet necessary, process needed to arrive at a commercially successful graphic design. 

10-Week Term Grading Procedures

  • Projects = 50%

  • Class Participation = 25%

  • Quizzes = 15%

  • Homework = 10%

  • I do not tolerate racial, ethnic, or religious slurs.

  • I do not tolerate cussing.

  • I do not clean up after you.

If you miss a classroom assignment it is your responsibility to see me to make arrangements to make it up.
