Introduction

Welcome! You have entered into a hunt for information regarding Shakespeare and the time period he lived in (known as the Elizabethan Age and Renaissance)! This information is vital in gaining an understanding of and appreciation for Shakespeare's great works.  You will be studying Shakespeare and his work every year of high school – IT IS IMPORTANT!

Instructions:

·        You will be placed into groups and will work together to complete the project.

·        Each group will be given a list of sites on the Internet to explore.

·        Each member will explore the sites on the Internet and/or use books available in the Library in order to gather information.

·        Each group will develop a lesson to be presented in front of the class.  This lesson MUST include a visual to assist with classmates’ understanding.  (This may be a poster, a hand-out, a PowerPoint, a model, a demonstration, a skit, etc.)

·        Each group MUST turn in an outline of information gathered for the lesson AND a Works Referenced sheet listing ALL books, magazines, encyclopedias, and web sites used.

·        Each group will complete an evaluation of the members; these evaluations will be part of the total project grade.
