Friday, September 19 Dansville Middle
School students spent the day out of their traditional
classrooms and in Church Park amidst living history.
Students took part in the annual Civil War Day featuring
a troupe of reenactors that made history pop out of the
history books, even if just for a day. Both civilian and
military life during the Civil War era were revealed
during the presentations and students were actively
engaged in learning and participating in this historical
period.
Guests who made the day possible
included: Dave Pattridge, Tim Bills, Sue Erdle, Mike
Falzoi, Alice Burdick, Janet Gunn, Less Buell, Jamie
Stevens, Joyce Eaton, Dave Palmer and Shirley Palmer.
