Page Turners!
What Is It?
Page Turners is a reading and trivia club that meets weekly during the activity
period. Students receive a list of books,
short stories and poems to read. They are then encouraged to write trivia
questions from what they have read. These questions are submitted to be used in
the games, hopefully to stump the other teams! Twice a year they go to compete against
other schools in a "Trivial Pursuit" / Jeopardy format.
Who Can Join?
The club is open to all students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Students are
allowed to join in September.
Competitions
There are two competitions during the year, one in December and another in April
or May. Dansville's team won the South Division 'title' in 2006!
