These are rules that we follow in our school lab, but are also great rules to follow when working on your home computer.
1. Be sure hands are clean
2. Keep the computer and discs away from heat.
3. Do not eat or drink near the computer.
4. Do not touch the exposed parts of the disc.
5. Never touch exposed cord with hands or feet.
6. Never put the cord from your headphones in your mouth.
7. Always ask for help if there is a problem with your computer. Never try to
fix it yourself.
8. Treat your computer workstation with respect--never hit or bang on the
equipment.
