School Supply List

The following are school supplies that we would like your child to bring on the first day of school if possible:

v   Two boxes of 24 crayons

v   Two folders with pockets

v   One box of tissues to help beat those winter colds

v   Two packages of sharpened standard yellow No. 2 pencils that will go into a class collection

v   Pencil sharpener for your child to keep in his/her desk

v   Three bottles of Elmer’s school glue or glue sticks are great too!

v   One package of washable markers

v   One package of colored pencils

v   Two pairs of blunt ended fiskars scissors for kids

v   One box of ziploc baggies-gallon size

v   One box of ziploc baggies-sandwich size

v   Writing notebook—a spiral bound notebook or composition book would be great!

v   Two packs of low-odor dry erase markers

Also, your child will need the following items for school on a regular basis:

v    A backpack or book bag will be needed daily to carry things to and from school.

v    Sneakers for gym days if they are not already wearing them.  (We will send home a schedule of specials (gym, music, etc.) on the first day of school)

v    A lunch pail or paper lunch bag if you plan on packing a lunch or an envelope for your child’s money if he/she will be buying milk, lunch, and /or ice cream.  Please label your child’s envelope as follows:

If your child prefers to use a “coin purse” for lunch money, that is fine too.  Also, round film containers work well for holding lunch money and can be reused. Thanks again for helping us have a terrific start to the new school year!!
