Dansville Central School Athletic Philosophy

Participation in Dansville Central School athletics is a privilege. This information, the expectations and policies included in the Athletic Handbook are meant to help the student athlete make decisions regarding their behavior in and out of school, to choose not to use alcohol, tobacco or controlled substances and to live a healthy life both in and out of athletics.

Any student, whether athlete or not, should not hesitate to voluntarily and confidentially report when he / she is having difficulty with any situation, particularly with the use or abuse of substances as described in the school policy. The district's first concern is always the physical end emotional well being of its students.
