DeLoria, Interim Superintendent, does hereby retroactively appoint Jennifer Migliore who holds an Initial Certificate permitting her to serve in the Special Education 7-12 tenure area in the public schools of New York State, to the position of Special Education Teacher in the Special Education 7-12 tenure area for a probationary period of 3 years, to commence on 9/1/06 and to end on 8/31/09; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT during the first year of this

DeLoria, Interim Superintendent, does hereby retroactively appoint Lynne Thompson who holds an Initial Certificate permitting her to serve in the Elementary Education K-6 tenure area in the public schools of New York State, to the position of Sixth Grade Teacher in the Elementary Education K-6 tenure area for a probationary period of 3 years, to commence on 9/1/06 and to end on 8/31/09; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT during the first year of this appointment the salary will be paid in accordance with the salary schedule as outlined in the agreement with the Dansville Teachers’ Association Salary: $34,530.00

DeLoria, Interim Superintendent, does hereby retroactively appoint Sean Race who is initially certified in the Physical Education tenure area, to work in the non-probationary part-time position of Adaptive Physical Education Teacher. Employment shall commence on 9/12/06 and terminate on 6/22/07; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT salary will be paid in the amount of $75.00 per day for 2 days per week. There are no benefits associated with this position.

This service will not be credited toward acquiring tenure.

RESOLVED, that the Dansville Central School Board of Education, per Education Law, Section 305 (14) (b) declares an emergency situation requiring and authorizing the District to award a transportation contract, without competitive bidding, for a period not to exceed one month. The aforementioned situation concerns a special education student needing out of district transportation for his educational program.
