Wall of
Fame inducts Class of 2007
This year's Class of 2007 induction onto
the Dansville All Sports Booster Club Wall of Fame has held January
26 at the Dansville Moose Club. A special highlight of the evening
featured the donation by the Henrich family of Dansville to purchase
goal posts for Ralph Clements Field in memory of Marty Henrich, who
passed away earlier this year. His brother Matt was among the
nominees inducted into the wall of fame. Among the family members
that were present for the Matt Henrich's induction, Norm Henrich
joined his son in presenting the donation to the school district.
This year's Class of 2007 inductees
included:
Ryland Burger, Class of 1964, was a
three-year varsity football player, starting offensive guard and
linebacker his junior and senior years on teams with a 14-1-1
record. He was a County All Star during his junior and senior years
and was a four-year letterman in wrestling and a three-year
letterman in baseball.
Dewitt
"Horse" Campbell, was a standout in football, basketball and track
and field in the late 1920s for Dansville. This honor is given
posthumously and was accepted on his behalf by his sister Mrs.
Arlene Putney.
Dan Dixon, Class
of 1992, had an outstanding football and baseball career. In
football he was named County All Star his junior year and county
Offense and Defense Player his senior year. Dan was named
