| During its regular
meeting on July 10th, 2007, the Dansville Board of Education
appointed Jeremy Palotti, then middle school assistant
principal, to the position of elementary school principal.
“After serving the District in the Primary School and Middle
School as teacher and Assistant Principal, I am thrilled to join
the EBH Team and to be a part of guiding elementary students in
Dansville towards achieving their hopes and dreams,” said
Palotti upon his appointment.
Mr. Palotti joined the Dansville
faculty in September 2000 as a primary school teacher. in that
position he taught first and second grade and was a curriculum
teacher leader for two years. Mr. Palotti was a co-teacher at
the second grade level working collaboratively with a special
education teacher to deliver outstanding programs to his
students. In August of 2005 he was appointed as dean of students
at the Dansville Middle School and upon completion of his
certification requirements, became the assistant principal in
January 2006. For a brief period, Mr. Palotti served as the
acting principal of the middle school building from October 2006
to January 2007.
Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maine, a
Master of Science Degree in Elementary Education from SUNY
Geneseo and a CAS in Educational Administration and Supervision
from SUNY Brockport. He holds New York State Certifications in
School District Administrator (SDA), School Administration and
Supervision (SAS) and Elementary Education N-6.
Mr. Palotti immediately assumed the
responsibilities of the elementary principal and is currently
working with staff and faculty in preparation for the September
2007 opening.
