Wegman’s ZooMobile visited the Dansville Primary School and brought with it some wonderful creatures. Zoo educators shared information with students about habitats and animal adaptations that make it possible for creatures to survive and thrive in a wide range of environments. Educators Helen and Emily were joined by an opossum, a small lizard, an African bush baby and other wonderful critters. Each animal was presented following a discussion of a certain type of habitat, the characteristics of that habitat and the tools the animal had developed to live there. The visitors seemed as curious about Primary students as the kids were about them!
