The EBH Elementary School Page Turners participated in the winter competition at Letchworth on December 20th. Other participants included teams from Keshequa, Cohocton, Letchworth, and Wayland. The students had a great time being on stage and answering questions about the books they had read. EBH tied with Cohocton for third place, and our alternate team took 1st. There will be another competition in the spring to determine the 2007-2008 winners.

Students who participated in the winter competition were: Grade three: Paige Austin, Justin Berry, Kaitlyn Chan, Sarah Cotton (team captain), Ashton Kastner, Natasha King, Shayna Lafaye, Courtney Lowe, Laurel Seiwell; Grade four: Katelynn Applin, Leanne Camuto, Michael Farley, Greg Henderson, Christina Kaszuba, Alina Khan, Hannah Kling, Raegan Lemmon, Ryan McMullin, Jeffery Putney, Bradley Sherman, Kirstin Sherman, Nicholas Vogler, Marissa Wint; Grade five: Sarah Graves (team captain), Julia Mason, Allison McLaughlin, Zachary Thompson (team captain). The support of family members has been much appreciated. Special thanks go to Jody Vogler for submitting our questions to BOCES and to Monica Kastner for accompanying the group to Letchworth and taking photos. The group’s advisor is Renee Nixon.
