    Girls Varsity Soccer:

    Congratulations to the girls soccer team on their 2-0 victory over Livonia last night.  The mustangs hosted the Bulldogs for their senior night.  The win places the Mustangs in 4th for sections and earns them a home sectional game.  Goal scorers for the Mustangs were Grace Rittenhouse and Madison Lee.  Both goals were recorded in the second half of the game.  Assists were recorded by Sidney Stone and Abby Briggs.  Jillian Schramm was in net for the Mustangs and recorded 6 saves.

    JV lost to Livonia 3-1.

     

    Varsity Volleyball:

    The Dansville Lady Mustangs Volleyball Team  (8-8) played an exceptional and intense match versus the Livonia Lady Bulldogs losing 3-0 with game scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-21. Having a stellar game was Maddie Jacobs with 7 kills, 1 block, and 3 digs. Ray Young had 5 kills, served for 12 points, had 1 block and 3 digs. Taylor Mann had an incredible 15 digs. Abi Henderson had 10 assists, 7 digs and a kill. The next game is Weds. 10/23 home versus Arkport-Canaseraga it will be the Mustangs Senior Night.

    JV Soccer: lost to Wayland
     
    Varsity Volleyball:
    The Dansville Lady Mustangs (8-7) defeated the Hornell Red Radiers(2-14) last evening at home with a match score of 3-0. Leading the team was Ray Young with 5 kills. Taylor Mann had a commanding 8 digs and 4 assists. Kiersten Kennedy had 6 digs and served for 11 points. For Hornell Kayla Turner had 6 points, 3 aces and 5 digs. Cassidy Godson served for 5 points and had 2 digs. The Mustangs go on to play Livonia tomorrow evening in Livonia and Hornell will Haverling this Friday evening. 
     
    The JV volleyball team had an awesome match against Hornell last night, winning 3-0. Making big plays for the Mustangs were Sam Bishop with 9 aces and 4 kills, Sami Mackey with 5 aces and 3 digs, Cami Pappas with 5 aces and 7 serve points, and Erin Pantanella with 2 aces, 11 serve points and 5 kills. Keep up the great work vs Livonia on Thursday.
     
    Modified Girls Soccer:
    The girls Modified Soccer Team tied Cal Mum 2-2 yesterday. Baylee Hayes and Olivia Miller scored goals for the Mustangs.

    Cross Country:

    On Tuesday, October 15th, the boys and girls cross country teams competed in a league meet against Bath-Haverling, Keshequa, and host Wayland-Cohocton.  Here are the highlights:
     
    The girls team defeated all three of their opponents. Maggie Bacon placed 1st, Emma Beardsley 2nd, Jessica Qiu 3rd, Sofia Rodriguez 4th, and Brielle Caruso 5th.  The girls team currently has a record of 15 wins and 4 losses.
     
    The boys team was led by Chad Tomas with a 2nd place finish.  Zach Foster came in 9th place.  The boys team record is now 8 wins and 11 losses.
     
    Modified XC: 
    The Dansville modified Cross Country finished their season last night at Wayland Cohocton running against Wayland Cohocton, Bath-Haverling and Hornell. Highlights include top 10 finishers:
    Brianne Hurlburt finished 1st for girls in a time of 10:32, 5th place Haley Beman. Finishing in the top 10 for the boys, Zach Heiman in second place with a time of 10:27 & finishing in 9th, Erik Stoner.
     
    JV Football:

    Gavin Hart and Nate Gardner each scored a touchdown.
    Gavin Hart converted a 2 point conversion.
    The defense was led by Jake Allen, Ben Sick and Preston Bell.
     
    Girls Soccer:
    Varsity: The girls soccer team traveled to Perry on Tuesday.  The mustangs won the game 5-0.  Grace Rittenhouse recorded 3 goals for the mustangs.  Madison Lee and Madelyn Failla also recorded one goal a piece.  Assists on the night went to: Teah Arriaga and Madelyn Failla. Jillian Schramm played 75 minutes in net and recorded 3 saves.  Abigail Belcher took over in net and immediately saved a PK along with 3 additional saves.  The mustangs senior night will take place Thursday at Ralph Clements field at 6:30.
     
    JV: JV Girls Soccer defeated Perry 4-0.  Amber Henchen scored 3 times and Kali Meyer added one.

    The Lady Mustang Volleyball team won against Haverling last night at home with a match score of 3-1. Kiersten Kennedy had a standout match serving for 15 service points 5 of which were aces. She also had 11 digs. Ray Young and Maddie Jacobs each had 5 kills. Jenna George had 4 kills and 12 digs. Abi Henderson led the girls with 15 assists, 4 kills and 7 digs.
     
    JV Volleyball
    The JV volleyball team pulled off a win vs Bath Haverling tonight after losing game two. Leading her team was Emma Heiman with 5 aces, 4 points on serve, 1 kill and 4 digs.  Also making great plays were Sam Bishop, Cami Pappas, Sami Mackey, Jolin Qiu, Hannah Frazier and Abby Roelle. Great win, ladies!
     
    Varsity Girls Soccer:
    The girls soccer team traveled to bath on Wednesday.  Bath defeated dansville 1-0 with the only goal of the match coming in the 21st minute.  Jillian Schramm was in net for the mustangs and recorded 10 saves.  The mustangs fall to 7-6-1 on the season.  The girls next game is Tuesday at Perry.  
     
    JV Soccer:
    JV Girls Soccer defeated Haverling 2-1.  Emma Allen scored one goal on a direct kick outside the 18.  Robbie Boss and Braelynn  Potter help Bath score the other on their own goal.  Zoe Veanut played a strong game in Goal.

    Varsity Cross Country"

    The boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Livonia to complete against the host school as well as Attica and Holley.  Here are the Dansville highlights:
     
    The boys team defeated Attica and Holley and lost to Livonia.  Chad Thomas came in first place and Zach Foster earned a fifth place finish.  The boys record is now 7 - 9.
     
    The girls team defeated Holley and lost to Attica and Livonia.  Maggie bacon came in 7th p[lace, Emma Beardsley earned an eight place finish, and Hayley Conrad came in tenth place.  The girls record is now 12 - 4.
     
    Congratulations to all the Dansville runners that finished a difficult 3.1 mile course.
     
    Modified Cross Country:
    The Modified Mustang cross country team ran Tuesday, October 8 at Livonia Central.  The course with a tough 1.5 miles but the Mustangs came out on top.  We took 1st  for both the boys race and the girls race for the second week in a row. Finishing first for the boys Zack Heiman in a time of 10:15 and finishing first for the girls Brianne Hurlburt with a time of 10:49 Finishing in the top 10 for boys Arryl Gerber, Erik Stoner and Denny Hanks. For the girls finishing in the top 11 Hailey Beman, Teaghan Brooks & Alex Daly.  The Mustangs finish out their season next Tuesday at Wayland Cohocton
     
     
    Varsity Girls Swimming:
    The Dansville girls varsity swim team had an incredible victory against the Bath haverling rams. 
     
    Dansville won 8 of the 12 events and brought home new sectional cuts and best times at a senior night that wont soon be forgotten!
     
    The medley relay team of Bailey Rossborough, Alycia Wachtel, Kaitlyn Lee and Kayleigh Camacho continue to drop time while Meghan Schledorn dropped 2 seconds to qualify in the 200 free!
     
    Bailey and Kayleigh came home with a first and second place in the 200 IM and both girls qualified for the sectional meet!
     
    Kaitlyn Lee shown bright in her 50 freestyle events where she broke 30 seconds and went head to head against one of baths senior both times. 
     
    As for our seniors... Emma Rossborough, Sydney Martin and Alycia Wactel both brought home wins in their individual events while Lizzy Fox, Mary Catherine Aikin, and Taylor Coburn had personal bests in theirs!!!

    Girls Soccer:

    Varsity Soccer lady mustangs came back to win vs. Perry Saturday morning 4-3. Goal scorers for the mustangs were Grace Rittenhouse with 3 and Sidney Stone with 1. Maddie Failla had 2 assists and Kyra Veaunt an assist on the game winner. Jill Schramm made some good saves net with 9 for the game. The mustangs now move to 7-5-1 on the year. The girls next game is next Wed in Bath @ 6:30.

    The JV Girls Soccer Team defeated Perry 7-1.  Scoring goals for the Mustangs were Amber Henchen and Robbie Boss each with 2, Nana Arriaga, Stephanie Youngers and Kali Meyer each scored 1.

     

    The Girls Modified Soccer Team defeated York 3-1 on Saturday. Baylee Hayes, Paige Masten, and Chelsie Tyler scored goals in the victory.

    Boys Soccer:

    Varsity and JV were both defeated.

    Girls Swimming:

    The varsity girls had a great meet tonight against Midlakes-Red Jacket, but due to injury and Illness fell short of a win as Midlakes-Red Jackets depth took the meet from Dansville in the last 2 races. The Lady Mustangs personally swam there best races of the season so far. Personal bests came from Ella Frazer and Michelle Jefferson in the 200 Free, Lizzy Fox in the 50 Free, Kayleigh Camacho in Diving, Kaitlyn Lee in the 100 Fly, Mackenzie Jacobs in the 100 Free, Ella Frazer, Michelle Jefferson, and Lizzy Fox in the 500 Free, Kaitlyn Lee and Mary Catherine Aikin   in the 100 Back, Alycia Wachtel and Paige Curtis in the 100 Breaststroke and finally the quartet of Bailey Rossborough, Alycia Wachtel, Kaitlyn Lee, and Kayleigh Camacho posted Dansville fastest 200 Medley Relay time by over 3 seconds!! 

    This meet also qualified Ella Frazer for sectionals in her second event (200 Free) as well as Michelle Jefferson in her first event the 500 Free. Congratulations Ladies !!

    Tuesday October, 8th the Lady Mustangs will be swimming at home on Senior Night against Bath-Haverling, come out and support or 6 seniors as they look to take home their last win at home!! 

     

    Varsity Volleyball:

    The Dansville Lady Mustangs(6-7) defeated the Wayland-Cohocton Eagles(1-12) last evening with a match score of 3-0. Brooke Coombs came up big serving for 13 points 5 of which were aces, 6 digs and 4 kills. Jenna George had 7 kills and 7 digs. Maddie Jacobs also had 4 kills. Wayland-Cohocton’s Maria Baker had 2 kills, 3 aces and 5 digs. The Wayland Cohocton team plays York home on Monday. The Lady Mustangs host Haverling this coming Wednesday

    Varsity Cross Country:

    The boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Geneseo on October 2nd and competed against the host school as well as Batavia Notre Dame and Wheatland-Chili.  Here are the highlights:

     
    The girls team defeated their opponents and now have a record of 11 wins and 2 losses.  The girls team was led by 9th grader Maggie Bacon with a 3rd place finish and 12th grader Jessica Qiu with a 4th place finish.  Also in the top ten were 12th grader Emma Beardsley, 10th grader Haley Conrad, and 9th grader Sophia Rodriguez and 10th grader Brielle Caruso.
     
    For the boys, 10th grader Chad Thomas came in 2nd place and set a personal record time of 17:19.  12th grader Zach Foster came in 10th place.  The boys record is now 6 wins and 7 losses.
     
    Modified XC:
    Great day for the Modified Mustangs cross country team. They ran to Geneseo against Notre Dame, Geneseo and Wheatland Chili. The Mustangs came home with the #1 finisher in both the boys and girls races!  Finishing in first place for the boys race Zach Heiman in with a time of 9:28. Finishing first for the girls race Brianne Hurlburt with a time of 9:55.  Haley Beman finished second in the girls race.  Arryl Gerber, Dennis Hanks, Eric Stoner, Teaghan Brooks and Alex Daly all also had personal best times today at Geneseo. The Mustangs run again next Tuesday at Livonia. Go mustangs!
     
    Girls Varsity Soccer:
    The Lady Mustangs hosted Hornell yesterday. The game went into Overtime.  The lady mustangs were defeated 2-1.  The Red raiders scored their first goal in the first two minutes of the game and the game winning goal in the final two minutes of the game.  Grace Rittenhouse scored from a Penalty Kick in the second half to bring the mustangs into overtime.  Jillian Schramm was in net for the mustangs and recorded 17 saves.
     
    JV team lost to Hornell.
     
     
    Varsity Volleyball:
    The Lady Mustangs (7-5) fell to Livonia (10-1) last evening losing 3-0 with games scores of 25-14, 25-18 and 25-18. The girls worked together and had some excellent plays. Abi Henderson had a standout game stepping up big time  for the team. Abi had 11 digs and 3 kills. Jenna George had 15 digs and 4 kills. For Livonia Kylie Chartier had 11 kills, 7 digs and 3 aces. Brooklyn Kicherer 5 aces, 7 kills and 2 blocks and Jenny Blakemore 2 aces, 23 assists, 2 kills and 1 dig
    JV Volleyball:
    The JV volleyball team fought a tough battle against Livonia last night. Although they lost 1-2, Cami Pappas stepped up for her team with 3 digs, 2 serving points and 3 aces. Sam Bishop had 3 points on serve and 3 aces as well. Emma Heiman and Abby Roelle had 3 hits to help their team. Wish them luck today against Way-Co.

    Girls Varsity Soccer:

    The girls soccer team traveled to Livonia Monday night for their first face-off of the season.  The game ended in a 0-0 tie.  Jillian Schramm was in net for the mustangs and recorded 9 saves.  The mustangs next game is Wednesday at home versus hornell. 

    JV Soccer : Lost 3 to 0

     

    Varsity Volleyball:

    The Dansville Lady Mustangs suffered defeat last evening playing an intense 5 game match versus Pavilion whom won 3-2. Game scores were 25-17 Pavilion, 25-22 Dansville, 25-18 Pavilion, 25-14 Dansville and 25-9 in the final game for the win for Pavilion. Jenna George had an exceptional evening with 19 digs and 8 kills. Tessa Gregorius with 16 digs and 8 assists, Taylor Mann with 13 digs and 9 service points. Kiersten Kennedy with 8 digs and a kill. Maddie Jacobs with 2 digs and 4 kills. Dansville is now 5-6 on the season. Wish the athletes luck as they play Livonia at home on Wednesday evening.

    JV Vollyeball:

    The JV mustangs lost a tough match against Pavilion. Fighting especially hard for the team were Emma Heiman with 3 aces and 8 digs, Sam Bishop with 10 service points and 6 kills, and Abby Roelle with 3 aces and 3 digs. The team takes on Livonia and Wayland-Cohocton later this week!

    Soccer:

    The lady mustangs hosted Bath on Friday night.  The mustangs were defeated 1-0 after Ella Yartym scored with one second left in the first half of the game.  Jillian Schramm was in goal for the mustangs and recorded 15 saves.  The mustangs next game is Monday at Livonia. 

    JV girls soccer defeated Haverling 2-0 on Friday.  Amber Henchen scored both goals.

     

    Varsity Volleyball:

    The Dansville Lady Mustangs played an excellent match against Haverling increasing their record to 5-5 with a 3-0 match score. The Dansville athletes came out intense and took a dominate 25-8 win in the first game winning the next two 25-18 and 25-11. Madison Jacobs had a stand out game with 7 kills and 2 digs. Jenna George had 8 digs, 2 kills, and a pair of aces. Taylor Mann had 5 aces. Bethany Wadsworth and Brooke Coombs one kill a piece. The lady mustangs play in Pavilion Monday.

    Girls Swimming:

    The Dansville Varsity girls swim team dominated the pool last night in their meet against Hornell. Almost every girl came home with a new personal best time in events they don't often swim! 

     
    Dansville came home with 9 wins, where 6 of those first place came right along with a second place in tow!
     
    On top of all those we had 5 new sectional cuts from the team! 2 of which coming from Kaitlyn Lee in the 200 free and the 100 free which brings her total to 4 cuts as an 8th grader!!!
     
    The seniors brought in several new ones as well, Alycia Wachtel in the 50 free, Emma Rossborough in the 100 Fly and a personal record in diving! Sydney Martin brought it home with a new cut in the 100 backstroke!
     
    Baily Rossborough qualified again in the 200 IM and brought home a new cut in the 100 breastroke!!!

    Girls JV Soccer

    Congratulations to the Girls JV Soccer team on defeating Hammondsport-Bradford yesterday by a score of 2 to 0.  Amber Henchen scored both goals for the lady mustangs.

    Volleyball:

    The Lady Mustang Volleyball Team(4-5) took a solid win over the Hornell Lady Raiders(1-7) last evening. Winning 3-0 in match scoring. A stand out game was had by Jenna George with 4 kills, 3 aces and 3 digs. Tessa Gregorius had 2 kills, 7 aces and 5 digs. Abi Henderson had 4 aces, 2 digs and 5 assists. Ray Young had 9 service points and 3 kills. Brooke Coombs had 3 kills and Kayla Abbott came up with a strong kill at an important part of our game. The Mustangs travel to Haverling Friday evening. Go MUSTANGS! 

    JV Volleyball:

    The JV Volleyball team beat Hornell last night 2 games to 1. Sami Mackey had an awesome serving streak in game 2 which gave her 11 aces and 3 additional points on serve total for the night. Also aiding our team with serves were Emma Heiman, Cami Pappas and Erin Pantanella. Keep up the great work ladies! We take on Bath Haverling on Friday.

    Cross Country:

    The Dansville cross county teams hosted four schools on Tuesday, September 24th.  Coming to Dansville were Warsaw, Avon, Byron-Bergen, and Pembroke.  Here are the results:
     
    Boys:
     
    Chad Thomas of Dansville came in first place with a course record of 18:15.  
     
    The Avon boys team was led by Orlando Petterson with a second place time of 18:18.  The Avon boys defeated all of their opponents and currently have a record of 8 wins and 2 losses.
     
    Girls:
     
    Dansville girls were led by Maggie Bacon with a 3rd place finish.  Other Dansville girls include Emma Beardsley (6th place), Hayley Conrad (9th place), and Sophia Rodriguez (10th place).  The Dansville girls record is now 8 wins and 2 losses.
     
    The Avon girls team was led by Libby Powers.  Libby set a course record of 20:20.  The Avon girls remain undefeated with a record of 10 wins and 0 losses.
     
    Modified XC:;
    Breanne Hurlburt won the Girls race in a time of 11:20, finishing first.  Followed in second by Haley Beman. 
     
    Top finishers for the boys team were Zach Heiman, fifth in a time of 10:36 and Arryl Gerber in 12th.

    The Lady Mustangs(3-5) took a victory last evening defeating the Geneseo Blue Devils (3-6) with a score of 3-1. Having a standout game was Jenna George with 9 kills, 3 blocks and 7 digs. Tessa Gregorius with 13 service points 5 of which are aces, 9 digs, 4 kills and 9 assists. Abi Henderson had an amazing 7 aces and 13 total service points with 8 assists. Ray Young and Maddie Jacobws each with 6 kills a piece. 
     
    (JV):
    The JV lady mustangs won 2 to 1 tonight!! Great serving by Sam Bishop, Emma Heiman and Sami Mackey. Erin Pantenella had some amazing hits and digs.
     
    Modified Soccer:
    The girls modified soccer team played to a 1-1 tie with Livonia yesterday. Megan Tyler scored for the Mustangs. Emma Butters was outstanding in goal.

    Cross Country:

    The boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Midlakes Invitational on Saturday, September 21st.  Dansville competed in Division 2 and here are the highlights:
     
    For the girls team, Jessica Qiu finished 22nd (out of 73 runners) with a time of 23:06.  Maggie bacon finished in 26th place and Emms Beardsley finished in 27th place.  The girls team finished in 6th place out of 19 schools.
     
    For the boys team, Chad Thomas finished 10th (out of 79 runners) with a personal record time of 18:04.  
     
    Both teams will be competing at home on Tuesday, September 24th against
    Avon, Bryon-Bergen, Pembroke, and Warsaw.
     
    Modified XC:
    The Dansville Modified Cross Country team finished very well at the prestigious Midlakes Invitational.  Both the boys and girls team each competed with 100 plus athletes in their races.  Finishing in the top group  - Brianne Hurlburt finished 2nd with a time of 9:41.78 & Hailey Beman finished 19th for the girls. Zach Heiman finished 11th with a time of 9:15.24 for the boys. 
    Also running personal best times Alex Daly, Teagan Brooks, Erik Stoner & Dennis Hanks.  The Mustangs Run this Tuesday on their home course.  Go Mustangs!!!

    The mustangs hosted LeRoy on Friday.  The mustangs fell to LeRoy 4-2.  Goal scores for LeRoy include: Keister (14th and 78th minutes—unassisted), Luckey (15th minute—assist=Keister), and Carmichael—unassisted).  Goal scorers for the mustangs include: Madison Lee (29th minute—assist Sidney Stone), and Madelyn Failla (75th minute—assist stone).  Jillian Schramm recorded 12 saves for the mustangs.  Dansville falls to 5-3 on the season with their next game being home, Monday, versus Honeoye.
     
    Varsity Volleyball:
    The Lady Mustang Volleyball team fell to Leroy in an intense and well played game losing 3-1. Having an excellent game was Abi Henderson with 1 ace, 7 digs, and 2 kills. Ray Young with 2 kills and 2 tips. Maddie Jacobs with 2 kills. The Lady Mustangs will host Geneseo this Tuesday at home.

    JV Football: 

    JV Football lost a hard fought battle against Notre Dame Batavia on Thursday night. The score ended at 14 to 6 ND Batavia.

    Nate Gardner had 1 TD. Dawson Wadsworth had an interception. And Ben Sick had a fumble recovery.
     
    Modified Volleyball:
    The modified girls volleyball team hosted a tough Hornell team last night. Although our girls came up short, they showed tremendous growth and willingness to play the game of volleyball the right way. Before the match, the girls set a goal of having at least 3 passes before the ball is returned over the net. The goal was 5 and it was met 
     
    Modified Girls Soccer:
    The girls modified soccer team lost to Hornell 4-2 yesterday. Baylee Hayes and Megan Tyler scored in the loss.

    Girls Varsity Soccer:

    The varsity girls soccer team traveled to hornell on Tuesday to play in a league game.  The mustangs defeated hornell 1-0 after Madison lee finished a cross by Grace Rittenhouse in the 39th minute of the first half.   Jillian Schramm was in net for the mustangs and recorded 8 saves.  This was a great team win for the girls.  The mustangs improve to 5-2 on the season. 

    JV Soccer:

    Lost 0 to 1.

    Modified Soccer:

    The girls mod soccer team defeated Wayland Cohocton yesterday 1-0 behind a goal by Chelsie Tyler.

    Volleyball:

    The Lady Mustangs despite a valiant effort were defeated last evening by the Cal-Mum Lady Raiders 3-1. The games were tight scores each match. Jenna George led the pack in kills with 5 kills last evening. She also had 5 digs and 2 aces. Kiersten Kennedy had an exceptional serving game with 13 service points and 7 digs. Tessa Gregorius had 10 digs 3 aces and 2 kills. Maddie Jacobs and Ray Young each with 3 kills a piece. Taylor Mann had 6 digs and Bethany Wadsworth had 4 digs

     

    Varsity Cross Country:

    The boys and girls cross country teams traveled to LeRoy on Tuesday, September 17th and competed against LeRoy, Alexander, and Kendall.  Here are the results:
     
    The girls team defeated Kendall and Alexander and lost to LeRoy.  The girls record is now 5-1.  The girls were led by Maggie Bacon (4th place), Jessica Qiu (6th place), and Emma Beardsley (7th place).
     
    The boys team defeated Kendall and lost to Alexander and LeRoy.  The boys record is now 2-4.  The boys were led by Chad Tomas (4th place) and Zach Foster (11th place).
     
    Both teams will be traveling this coming Saturday and competing in the Midlakes Invitational.

    Varsity Volleyball:The Lady Mustangs had a strong win against Arkport-Canaseraga Friday evening winning 3-0. Ray Young had 5 kills, Jenna George had 5 service points, 3 aces and 2 kills.  The Mustangs are now 2-2 in their season and head to Perry on Monday.

    Varsity Soccer:

    The girls varsity soccer team hosted Pal-Mac on Saturday.  The mustangs fell 1-0 to the red raiders.  Madi Keller scored the only goal of the in the 10th minute of the game.  The mustangs fall to 4-2 on the season.  Their next match is in hornell on Tuesday.

    Girls Soccer:

    The varsity girls soccer team hosted Letchworth for their first home game of the season.  The mustangs defeated the Indians 9-1.  Jasmyn Fox opened the scoring for the mustangs 6 minutes into the game.  Grace Rittenhouse adder 5 goals for the mustangs for the second time this season.  Sidney Stone recorded two second half goals for dansville with Summer Foster recording her first goal of the season as well.  Assists on the game go to: Jasmyn Fox, MacKenzie  Lawless, Summer Foster, and Morgan Wolcott.  Abigail Belcher made her first start in goal for the mustangs and recorded 9 saves—which including a penalty stop. 

    JV girls soccer defeated Letchworth 3-1.  Amber Henchen scored 2 goals and Emily Henchen had 1.  Sage Friedl recorded the win playing her first ever game as a goalie.

    The girls mod soccer team defeated Keshequa yesterday 2-1. Chelsei Tyler scored both goals, including the game winner with 4 seconds left in the game.

    Volleyball:

    The Lady Mustang team played an excellent and intense game last evening against Avon which ended with the Braves edging them out with a score of 3-1. The Lady Mustangs started strong making a great run in the first game winning confidently with a game score of 25-15. Dansville stayed in it stringing many excellent plays together but could not get the victory despite the amazing effort by all. They lost the next three games with game scores of 25-17, 25-20 and 25-21. A great evening for Maddie Jacobs with 7 kills and a block. Jenna George had 11 digs and 2 aces. Kiersten Kennedy had 6 digs, 10 points and 1 ace and Taylor Mann with 5 digs 6 points and 1 ace.

    Dansville hosted Wellsville and despite quite a few personal best swims by the mustangs, Wellsvilles depth was hard to compete with.

    The Dansville cross country teams traveled to Oakfield-Alabama on Thursday, September 9th.
     
    The girls team came away 3-0 with wins over Oakfield-Alabama, Caledonia-Mumford, and Pavilion-York.  Maggie Bacon, Emma Beardsley, Jessica Qiu, Haley Conrad, and Sophia Rodriguez all finished in the top ten places overall.
     
    On the boys side, Chad Thomas finished 6th overall and the boys defeated Caledonia-Mumford.
     
    The cross country teams will be traveling to the East Aurora Invitational this coming Saturday.

    Varsity Girls Soccer:
    The lady mustangs traveled to LeRoy Tuesday where they were defeated 4-3.  The game consisted of three lead changes and several missed opportunities on both ends.  Grace Rittenhouse opened the scoring for the mustangs 9 minutes into the game after Teah Arriaga played a ball back post.  Bryn Lucky tied the game 10 minutes later with an assist going to Maddie Keister.  Rittenhouse helped the mustangs take the lead back with an assist going to Mackenzie Lawless in the 23rd minute of the game.  LeRoy came out hard in the second half scoring two goals in the first 15 minutes.  Both goals being scored by Keister. Lawless tied the game for the mustangs 10 minutes later after a long cross found the back of the net.  Condidorio scored the winning goal for LeRoy in the final three minutes of the game.  Jillian Schramm was in goal for the mustangs and recorded 15 saves.  Dansville plays at home on Thursday at 4:30 versus Letchworth.  Dansville’s record stands at 3-1. 
     
    JV was deafeated by LeRoy by a score of 5 - 0.

    The Lady Mustangs came up with a win last evening defeating York 3-2 in the fifth game. Having a great evening was Tessa Gregorius with 18 points 5 of which were aces, 18 digs, 10 kills and 11 assists. Jenna George had a stellar evening with 2 blocks, 10 kills, 12 points, 4 of which were aces. Abi Henderson had an outstanding 22 assists, 8 points including 2 aces and 4 digs.  Ray Young with 9 kills and Maddie Jacobs with 5 kills.  The Lady Knights are 0-1 and Lady Mustangs 1-1.
