DANSVILLE ALPINE SKI TEAM

2/10/19 (Final Regular Season Event)

A strong performance at this last race from Callie Little  catapulted her into the top 10 thus securing a Southern Tier Race League sweatshirt! These sweatshirts are presented to the top 10 combined boys/girls modified, top 10 girls varsity and top 10 boys varsity. Great job Callie!  The team would like to thank the School District for their support reintroducing an Alpine Ski Team and Way-Co School District Coach Murray for making it such a successful and fun season !

Dansville/Keshequa results.

Trey Learn( Keshequa ) sophomore 113 lbs. Finished fourth supers Trey had a season record of 33-11.

2nd at LCAA

2nd at BBB (Sectionals)

Karam Ali(Dansville) senior 195lbs finished 2nd supers

Season record 40-6

1st at Byron Bergen tournament

1st. At State Farm in Hornell

1st at Gary Gross Memorial tournament Medina

1st at LCAA tournament

1st at BBB Sectionals

3 year career record 90-33 team captain and plans to attend college in the fall.

Levi Howe(Keshequa) senior 160 lbs. Finished 2nd. Supers. Levi had a season of 39-8 with 30 by pin which is a Keshequa school record!

1st. At sectionals 2017-18

Team captain with a career record of 138 wins and is enlisting in the Marine Corps in  September.

Both Karam and Levi will be sincerely missed next season for there skills and leadership.





INDOOR TRACK

2/8/19

Friday, February 8th at RIT One & Done Meet.  Each athlete was only allowed to be in one event.  The Mustangs made the most of it and set a lot of PRs.  

Brooke Coombs (25-02.75 ft), Emma Moore (25-04.75 ft), Preston Bell (26-00.5 ft) , Owen Thompson (27-01 ft) &  Danny Schmoll (20-02.74ft) All had personal bests in throwing.

Maggie Bacon & Summer Foster PRed in 1500  running 5:49 & 5:44 respectively. Zach Foster ran a personal best in 1600.

Sofia Rodriguez PRed earned Varsity D in 1000 m.

Zoe Veaunt PR in Racewalk for the second week in a row.

Savannah Burley PRed in 55m

Rachel Drake PRed in 600 with a run of 1:58,  provisionally qualifying for Sectionals.

Anna Shafer PRed in hurdles.

 

The Mustangs head to Sectionals at RIT, Saturday, February 16th were the will have 17 athletes competing. Go Mustangs!
