The Mustang Wrestlers headed to Arkport last Friday night to grapple in a late-season dual meet. The Mustangs captured a dominant win capturing 5 pins to win 30-15.

Dansville traveled to Bath today to swim at the LCAA Championships. 

The seven-man squad had a great day finishing fifth overall! 


Zack Kreiley lead the way with a win in the 500 Fr (5:07.14), and took second in the 100 Breaststroke (1:02.95) both are in season-best times! 


Greg Young continued the domination with a second and a third-place finish in the 200 IM (2:16.32) and the 100 Backstroke (1:04.63) respectively. 


Jeff Birmingham finished tenth in the 50 Free (26.54) and ninth in the 100 Backstroke (1:11:51). Both races were less than one second of his personal best swims! 


Jacob O’Toole dropped five seconds off his personal best and finished 21st in the 200 Free and dropped another personal best in the 500 Free this season for the fifth time this season, finishing nineteenth!! 


Conner Knapp took on a new event late in the season and came home with an eleventh place finish and a new personal best in the 200 Free (2:16.57) and finished his individual events with a twelfth place finish and a 2-1/2 second drop in his 100 Free for another personal best! 


Carson Mays came into counties looking to qualify for sectionals in his two events and he did not disappoint!! In the 50 Free (27.37) he dropped over a second to finish thirteenth and qualify for his first individual sectional event! His second event was another success for the freshman as he finished twelfth in the 100 Breaststroke (1:19.74) dropping 2-1/2 seconds and qualifying him for his second event at sectionals! 


Cameron Claud competed in the 50 Free and 100 Free and just like the rest of the team dropped two personal best swims!! Cameron finished thirty-fourth in the 50 dropped almost two seconds and finished fortieth in the 100 Free dropping over five seconds to finish off the day of personal bests throughout the team! 


Dansville’s relays followed suit by dropping three more in-season bests throughout the meet! Young, Kreiley, Birmingham, and Mays stepped up and bested their entry time by over four seconds with a third-place finish and a time of 1:54.36. 


The 200 Free Relay comprised of O’Toole, Claud, Knapp, and Mays moved up in the ranks finishing eleventh and dropping over six seconds from their in-season best with a 2:05.81! 


The final event of the night for the Mustangs was the 400 Free Relay! Knapp, Birmingham, Young, and Kreiley dropped an impressive nine seconds to finish third with a time of 3:47.29! 


The Mustangs will swim again in Bath at sectionals in three weeks !!
