DPS hosted CAMP READ A LOT this week! Families were invited to come to this fun-filled evening to celebrate literacy and help get ready for summer with a camp-themed event! All students that came received a brand new book and were able to participate in a variety of STEAM & literacy-based activities! There were smiles all around as kiddos made boats and tested them, created lanterns, did some camp "cooking", went "fish"-ing, heard a read-aloud outside in Star Gazer's Meadow, shopped at the book fair, and MORE! Thanks to all the families who came to this awesome event!
